Well it looks like I was be getting a cobalt. Just the base model LS for a daily driver, and its going to be stick of course
. I would really like to get the Supercharged SS, and my buddy is trying to get me a good price, but I don't think the funds will be able to support it. But anyway, at least I will have a decent car to drive all the time soon.
now, does anyone want my turd 91 camaro????

haha, my boyfriend drives an srt-4. I told him if by any chance a miracle happens and i get an SS, i'll give him a run for his money
Yea I kind of need it now. My commute to Pratt and Whitney will be an hours commute through hartford in rush hour traffic, hence it will be more like a 2 hour commute each way. But the big thing is, the camaro is over heating. It heats to about 220 in the cold winter just sitting at a light. I really don't want to see the how hot it will get sitting in traffic for hours with its 85 degrees out. I've spent about $300 trying to fix the over heating problem, and nothing has worked. Bottom line is I am sick and tired of throwing hundreds of dollars every few months on an old car that keeps having problems. And the funny thing is, for a brand new cobalt with full insurance(collision and all), its only $500 more a year than my camaro is without collision. WTF?
the colbalt will be nice but i would of got an auto if your gonna be in traffic that long every day. i drove the cav in just 45 minutes of stop and go traffic (top speed of 10 mph) and it suuuuuucked with a manual

the autos are still have a park/lock issue and the key gets stuck in the ignition because of this. theres an updated shifter assy. coming out soon to permentally fix it though . sticks dont have this issue. other than that there just here for oil changes and filters
Sweet, should be a nice car, guy at work here bought a sedan, it sure as hell is light years ahead of the cavaliers.
Only thing is they use that wierd European style canister oil filter, not the traditional screw on types we're used to.

I want $1000 for it. 55K miles, has some damage to the pass door since it was hit, and it has heating issues.

I've been trying to search to see if there are any know problems with the car and that is all I've heard as a small problem too. Is there anything else you would advise since you see them all the time?
