Normally I wouldn't care what you removed, but taking the spoiler off of a T/A is just downright wrong

Oh I totally agree about the A/C and yes maybe there is a point where just too much 'cutting' has gone on...but I also still can't see how the concept of adding a huge tempremental cam where a car is almost stalling at a stop light and/or steep gears/non lockup non overdrive trans (doesn't quite apply to 6 speed cars of course) where it's turning 4000rpm on the highway is any less of a sacrifice when trying to make a car faster.
Weight reduction also costs less usually.

Drew,
Heavyer cars with power break more parts....

Brandon,
I remember when Marc and I were just telling you the basics of weight reduction. You just RAN WITH IT! Way to go! All the big guys are doing it and running 10.2's cam only, why shouldn't you right? Don't listen to the nay-sayers. Of course the taking off of the wing is blasphemy, but the rest is cool!

Marc,

heres the testing that im gonna try out at the track, w/ mph

this also gave me a 340 miles to the tank the other day as well

about the wing, its not about the weight of the wing, but more of the downforce that it may be created since the pitch of it is now altered do to being lowered.

im looking for a 119/120 trap

I wasn't necessarily referring to your car specifically...it's just that I have found so many people bashing the concept of weight reduction as they throw blowers/bottles/lumpy cams etc etc at their cars, I just find it quite puzzling how one EXTREME is ok but the other is not. Of course ideally one should do BOTH.
My car with it's A/C, heater, carpeting, stereo and air bags still intact feels/sounds/drives/looks almost like bone stock yet with the aid of headers, a torque converter, tires and some mild weight reduction it has gone 11.8s on a stock rear.

My car's curb weight with a quarter tank of gas (without me, my stuff, and the recently installed 13lb. chrome moly subframe connectors) was 3,395 lbs. I used a CAT scale.
