I say if you make the top 25 your in regardless of street car, race car, this excuse or that excuse. well at least invite the top 25 then if poeple back out then start going down the list but run what you brung

My car is track only right now, but can be street driven. The only reason it isnt is because im 18, and insurance would be $5000 a year, plus a 1000 registration.... It all depends on where you live if your car can be driven on the street...

Guys this is the reason why NOTHING ever happens anymore. All this I want to be in this or that class, dont want to be with blah blah blah.
These are the choices, fastest 25 Eastern cars... or maybe (a big maybe) would be organizing something for the fastest 25 street cars. No silly rules, just simple street car stuff, tags, maybe insurance, DOT tires, LS1/LT1
Id be willing to help set something like that up, we could contact Eastside and maybe we could both do something like that together, they make the trip down to southern md with a lot of cars, so doing something in a middle state should be fine, even northern Md to make some of the top coast guys, but dont want to make it a haul for the VA/NC guys either.
Back to the original post I know Shiznity has gone 9.57 first shakedown run and drove it home, ATVRacr has been 9.51 @ 144, Choppins 9.8, Native Z28 just went 9.88 stock shortblock, Deez98Z went 10.003 recently as well, Mattricks cam/150 car went 10.78 or 10.82 or so, Luara just put up her 9.97 all cars get driven on Ritchie Highway... Id say should at least be 25 cars 10.0 or faster around here

What would you guys want to see 25 fast street cars or 25 fastest cars PERIOD? I think the later is fine, because you know your doing something if your street car still falls in the cut
I know I whined when I was bumped but it really should be the top 25. The rest of us then have something to shoot for. 
I keep putting stuff in the master timeslip data base but it's hit or miss when that gets updated. I have a timeslip from May that's still pending

we should stick to the top 25. if ya dont make the cut it gives ya something to shoot for. i mean the differance between 25 and 15 is only .7sec.
we cant get into the whole "street car" "drag only car" catagories cause ya know everyone and their mother will claim to have a "street" legal ride even though the thing runs on c16 and has a full built cage in her.
again...top 25. than if everyone agrees, we can make sub catagories for (nitrous, forced induction, normally aspirated) we can do that.
anywho....the season is just about over...with only 1 month remaining till the end of 06, we'll start up the new list in january.

I might make the list 9.807 @141.7, 1.35 60'. And yes it's got legal tags, get driven everywhere (track included when I can't borrow a trailer) and just made it though emissions if you can believe that
