Sorry guys I happen to like paypal but I use it in conjuction with my American Express card. It is a hefty card in terms of if you dont pay in full every month. But they have had no problem canceling any charges I dispute and returning my money and I let them handle jackasses. I use it on all my internet purchases. Sorry to hear you got the short end of the stick. Sorry I wont let any of my cash money go through paypal. I have a little account at a small bank that I have 20bucks in tied to paypal. If you used paypal with a credit card I would call the credit card company and lean on them. Good Luck

I don't see how money orders or cashiers checks would help in a situation like this. Once you pay, and those are deposited, you can't get a refund either.

Exactly.

I thought that verified/premier/business members with PayPal could have their accounts (CC, bank, etc) debited if they had a dispute that involved a refund. Is that not true?

the safest way to use paypal is to use your CREDIT CARD thru paypal (NOT your checking account)

then, yank the money back thru the CREDIT CARD company.. when paypal gets their money yanked, they pull it out of the other persons checking.. even if that makes it go negative.
