You haven't seen what Harlan is doing to his car then. 6's, I don't think anyone on LS1tech will be running 6's unless the motor is well over 1800 HP and in a car like Mike Morans Caper. 25-1.E complete tube chassis weighing 2375Lbs.

I've seen the pics on here of harlan's car, not sure what exactly what he was planning on running with it.. but I can see it fitting the outlaw class.. it's very similar to derty's car if I remember correctly.
And I do think that there will be 6's eventually run once the guys get the HOSS all done and dialed in. Certainly not off the trailer, but eventually. If they want to race competitively in the outlaw class, and go after some $ with it... they're gonna have to get it into the 6's with guys like lynch they will have to race against.

Sean, I have faith, you guys have been jonsing to do some real racing for a LONG time, and anything other then top notch results will not do. If it takes a 7.40 to win, then you'll be aiming for a 7.30. If it takes 6.90, youll aim for 6.80... that's just how you guys are competitive in nature, and like to push the envelope.
I have faith, you will do very well in the outlaw class with that car, and will get it to run whatever it takes to make a very strong showing with it.

Last shootout (other than the Outlaw uprising event) I was out to Cecil for, most of those 10.5 tire cars are well into the 7s. With the current ET goal, they should be able to pick off a few wins and go rounds once they get it figured out. Hell, tub it and put some big tires on and go quicker and you'd take home a lot of wins for some of the Q8 events. I haven't understood why the big tire class Q8 events don't carry more entrants and faster cars than the 10.5 ones, but...oh well.
