Hey guys, I played with some fbodys on 283 tonight. I dropped by autosound to see what type of cars hang out there and some fbodys asked if I wanted to go on a cruise with them up toward Etown. There was two black firebirds, a maroon camaro, an evo and a yellow s2000. Let me just say these guys are insane. I am way to old to street race like these guys do but I did do one pull against one of the black ta's. I pulled away from him but I had to try a lot harder than I thought I would. All of the cars in that group seemed to run pretty strong. Anybody know what these guys have done to their cars?

 

probably ghandi and rick with the black TA and firehawk. was the camaro maroon or sunset orange metallic? if it was som it was reid..he just got one

 

I couldn't tell if the camaro was maroon or orange but I think it was maroon. What does the TA and Firehawk have done to them? They were faster than I thought they would be.

 

Anyone up a cruise tonight, prolly will be meeting out at Park City, TGIF parking lot around 8-8:30ish, so if anyone is interested, you all know where we'll be.

 

That was Ghandi in the black TA, Rick in the black Firehawk and me in the sunset orange Z28. I'm not sure on complete mods on the others, but mine is bone stock - I just picked it up last Tuesday.

 

So who did I race on 283?

 

Ghandi said he raced you. He was telling me he was surprised he was hanging with a 402 lol.

 

I was short shifting a little but I still thought I would have pulled past him easier than I did. My car is pulling a ton of false knock which may be hurting me. Once I get some more miles on my motor I am going to have my knock sensors turned off and get my 20 horsepower back. Either way Ghandi's car seemed pretty damn strong. I would love to know what all he has done to it.

 

Oh yeah, you guys are insane lol. I am getting way to old to be playing like that. That was the first time I have street raced anybody in years.

 

You should hang out with us when we decide to do burnouts on one of our random nights out!!!!!!!!

 

I just installed a line lock kit on my car so that could be interesting.

 

Im getting the cam installed here shortly guys. Just waiting for the springs and pushrods to get here. Then gotta get it tuned.

 

we should all get together... maybe this weekend. its supposed to be sunny, upper 80's on saturday and they are callin for scattered storms on sunday, but there is only a 30% chance of rain so it will probably hold out. sunday is probably a better day for me, but ill try to accomodate on saturday. i really wanna come out and see how insane everyone really is. if anyone else is down for a meet, post up and let everyone know

I'm game for a meet, but I am busy all day Saturday.

 

My car is giving me a ton of problems again so I don't think I am going to make it out this weekend. I am going to change plugs again tomorrow and see if it will start but I am afraid that I am going to wash down the rings if I keep having these problems.

 

i guess the best day for me 2 is sunday... i need to get my car inspected by end of this month so that means either tomorrow evening or sometime saturday. hopefully my car passes and i dont need any work done to it.

 

Well we can always set up something early Sunday afternoon and then all go do our usual Autosound/cruise night, just need a place to meet up???

i was just talking to jared, we were going to plan a cruise to tha rt 1 hooters again if anyone is interested? eric...you were along last year, would you be up for that again? we could plan for a saturday in advance that way everyone has some time
