Default What do you think???

Well on my way home from the garage I was trying to show off goin on the the highway on the on ramp I romped it goin around the corner and my t-top flew off luckily it landed on the grass but kept on bouncing and landed in the middle of the on ramp again luckily nobody was coming behind me do you think that I might need some subframe connectors to keep car from twisting, or do you think somebody may have been just playing with it somewhere where I was and it just flew off.

i would hope it was the second option. if your car is twisting enought to make a t-top fly off....... your in trouble.

Probably wasn't in the locked position. Someone must have pulled on the handle and left it there like you said. Good thing it didn't break though

I lost mine at the track and thank god it didnt land on track or near anyone.. after i got the car home ( 2 weeks after i bought the car) i checked the pillars and found the one side was missing the part where the ttops engage into the a pillar. had the dealer replace the bracket and pay for the t-top i had to buy / overnighted... 250 bucks.

this is why i always leave my ttops LOCKED i dont trust those latches at all. they can shake loose after a while and then they go for the ride. seen it happen alot .
lucky it didnt break thats a huge plus !
