I think it's always tempting when you see a nice Z06 for sale. It's even better when you say you're getting a new Z06. Uggghh in time I'll get one. First thing is to fix the STi, then get a garage to put a Z06 in. If I had a garage, I'd be all over that car.

Yeah. Only problem I have is, I don't know how much it'll be to fix my STi. I just started getting some kind of engine knock. If I felt secure the STi was okay to drive for my DD for another few yrs, I consider it. The STi has WAY too many miles and too many mods to be "safe" to drive. How about we trade. My modded STi for your z06 , after I fix it ofcourse.

Have you driven one? They are a blast, even the V8 guys like them. Styling is usually debated, but driving it is fun. They stick to the road like glue.

Yeah, a friend of mine had one... It's not even the looks that put me off, it was driving it. It's not a bad car, it's just not my kind of car.

Yeah. It's a totally different type of car. I just drove one of my buddies charged vette. Definatly sweet, but different. They have more low end tq by far, but the STi slams you in the seat better. I can't complain. As it's set up to run mid 12 so...... I think the hardest part is the launch and 1st gear. If the gearing wasn't so short on the STi, it'd make it a more trackable car. It's just built for auto-x and shorter tracks. Don't worry I'll get a vette soon enough.

**** I wish I knew you were in the market for another LS1. I had everything installed and tuned at dez racing so it was all put together right and with the best parts so the guy who bought it got a pretty good deal considering all the parts and the fact that the car only had 58K miles on it. I sold it because even though I had plenty of cash for a DP on the house im buying I just wanted as low a mortgage payment as possible. Only thing that kinda sucks is that I just got offered a new finance job working with hedge funds that pays way more than I was making before so I didnt even need to sell it...oh well heres a clip though after the cam install, sounds pretty mean:
