Had some fun friday night, despite possible problems.
Well despite the oil issues with my car and possibly risking hurting my car more I made the decision to head up to the track, I might possibly be the worst off the line driver ever, mods/power in the sig. I really need some tires..... Oh and the car idled fine and seemed great, drove there fine drove home fine no stupid idle problem around a 1hr 30 minute drive there and same back, however oil pressure at idle is around 30 at 900rpms ehhhhh.....
1st run I got a solo run that was cool.
R/T ... .650
60' ... 2.587
330 ... 6.277
1/8 ... 9.144
mph ... 86.41
1000 ... 11.564
1/4 ... 13.571
mph ... 111.91
2nd run against a chevelle 396 lost
ME /Chevelle
R/T ... 1.088 /1.027
60' ... 2.717 /1.701
330 ... 6.414 /5.040
1/8 ... 9.236 /7.803
mph ... 87.45 /89.04
1000 ... 11.613 / 10.192
1/4 ... 13.598 /12.193
mph ... 113.63 /113.22
Right First 1.4664
Go ahead start poking fun. This was my first time out with the new set-up though, keep that in mind. I havnt found that happy medium yet with the clutch and gas as result I was spinning like a ****. Breakdown in 1st spinning peddled it got traction threw it in second got squirly straightened out both times same thing and I was not power shifting.

I I saw you up there. I was in red vette. The track was typical friday night.... not that great and it was warmer than I thought it would be. Did you get a chance to see that Jet car go?

Thinking about heading up this friday... anyone else?
Your MPH seems about right - maybe one or two more. I am trapping 114 with stock gearing / mods in sig. I will be trying out the new 4:11's now though and a better tune than I had with my old best (12.4@114) - I also blew up my rear on that run.
It always takes some time to get used to a new setup - especially if you never raced it before and on street tires.

You just need alot of practise.Everybody starts way off. It's worse when someone tries to run with a modified car. I would suggest running the stock tires for another 30-40runs till you master your driving. It WILL help you in the future when you run real tires because it looks like your shifting needs help too
A few of us use to go to the track every weekend a few years ago and always ran our street tires.I went from 2.4+60's to consistant 1.8's with street tires from just alot of practise.Racing a 6sp car is not easy.
