Default Picked up a new daily driver....

Well I decided it was time to retire my '96 blazer with 120k miles, it was completely problem free up until this past year, but after replacing the fuel lines, gas tank, fuel pump, alternator, battery, plugs, wires, fuel pump #2 & #3, and now in the process of replacing all the brake lines.... I've had enough.

So here it is....

'04 Sonoma Crew Cab

(I know my garage needs paint...)

Believe it or not, I didn't want yellow... I went and looked at all kinds of trucks... but decided early on that this is what I wanted. But the only one withing 50 miles of my house was yellow. After about two weeks of looking, the guy with the yellow one called and made me an awsome deal... so I couldn't turn it down... I said I'd never own a yellow car.... now I own two

My big *** doesn't need a big truck... we have lots of big trucks lying around here if I need one. This thing is basically for making th 2 mile trip from my house to the office, and driving me around between jobs and meetings... SO I need 4wd for the winter and I need some room for carrying **** with me, but I don't need a big truck. This thing was dirt cheap and I'll get lots of use out of it.... I just wish it was blue

I've been holding off putting it on the vette because I didn't want to waste it if I was selling the vette anyway

Tell your dad that if I'm not at home, I'm prob in the office which is just north of the center of town on Oakwood cemetery rd, it's easy to find. It's really close to matching the vette, but it's a little darker yellow.

ill let him know that. should be a great little truck for ya. the 4.3 is a great engine. when i had my 97 blazer i used to get like 16 mpg around town and 21 on the highway. when i did a few bolt ons (CAI,catback, tune) it went up to like 17mpg around town and almost 25 on the highway. i was gonna go a typhoon motor swap, but i found my camaro and decided it made more sense to make a car fast and stop wasting my time on the blazer. it was great i used to surprise the **** out of a lot of people with it

Nice truck but you should have traded the z06 in on the new srt-8 jeep. I took one for a test drive last week and man that thing ****** moves. i was sold on the trailblazer SS but after driving and seeing the srt-8 in person it performs just about as good if not better than the trailblazer and looks sick with the huge chrome wheels and center exhaust. I can only imagine how the jeep would move on some spray too lol!

The 4.3... same one they've used for a long time. Not an abundance of power, but enough to get around...lol
