Well there wasn't the usual SVT spring one so probably no fall one, guess they stopped doing the rentals. Janettey racing did one back in May, dunno if they've got one planned for the fall. I'd love for there to be one though.

One of the guys around here has one planned for Sept 15th I believe. I can get more information and get back to you on that, or you can call LVD and ask them about the rental that day.

I hope it's not like the pike one was last year, I heard that one was really bad.

I would like to get in on it though, as I'm gonna need a track day I should have the car back to running by then.

No it is not a pike event, although there will probably be a lot of LMMC guys there (which is not a bad thing). It will probably be similar to the Jannetty one in spring seeing it is basically the same group of people, and the spring one was decent except for weather.

Steph if Ted's doing the organizing for the day, please ask him to hold me a spot. I need a rental day to figure out how to launch the beast and to figure out where the shocks and tire pressure need to be set, so I can get that stuff set right before making a full blast down the track. I'm sure, rental day or not, I'm not gonna get more then a couple of those before someone tells me to go home.

He is not doing the track day, although he will probably be there with his son. I would call LVD and ask about the person to contact as I am not sure.

That's cool, good to hear he's doing well. I've been meanign to stop down there @ his shop and bs, just haven't had time. Maybe I'll run into him at a couple late season car shows that I'll probably be able to make, I should be back out and about within a few weeks.

Get any info on it let me know. LVD sucks, but a track rental would be cool.

That's what I'm afraid of. Hey, Bob backed out on me. Looks like I'm home all weekend.

Lvd can suck, nad I've seen it be pretty good too. With any luck, a rental will get eth track prepped alot beter then a street/test/tune day, and hopefully the rental won't be full of junk rice that drags water up to the line all the time.

The Janetty rental this spring, I thought LVD was prepped better than ever. I was hitting pretty consistent 1.70 and 1.71 60's on DR's. Of course as usual at LVD the timing lights weren't working.

The last time I went to LVD in July for T&T, they got a new tree and everything. The track was prepped very well. I was impressed
