NED Tonight I just got home from the track.. for my first time, all stock SS w/factory SLP 3 inch cat back, and a K&N filter.. my best slip went like this........
R/T= .172
60'= 2.404
330= 6.026
1/8= 8.993
MPH= 82.78
1000= 11.526
1/4= 13.670
MPH= 105.35
My first run i gotta 13.8 ^^^ was my second run.. 3rd and 4th i gotta 13.7, and my last run i gotta 14.2.... i grinded second
overall i was psyched.. cuz it was my first time there and i did good.. i was talkin to some other dude who it was his first time there.. his car looked just like mine, and he was runnin in the 14's

You just need to 60'. Next time lower your tires to 20psi,do a nice 5 second burnout in the box -roll out of it,then launch at 2500rpm while giving a slight slip of the clutch.That should put you at 1.9-2.0 60's and bring you into the 12's

Dark cloud was your SS the one with the chrome rims ? If so beautiful car. I had the black SS with the mismatched pontiac/chevy silver rims.
Ran the same best time as last week 12.74 @107 w a 1.7 60ft. picked up 1 mph.
car was very consistent running 12.8s all night at 106-107 with 1.8-1.9 60 foots easing into the throttle out of the hole. 1-2 shift was just tapping the rev limiter but it still would not shift 2-3 without pedaling it. It would sit on the rev limiter if I did not pedal it. slwhawk if you read this do you think anything can be done about my 2-3 or is it tranny time ?
Met a couple guys that were ther for 1st time a red ls1 and a nice chameon lt1 firehawk. Kid in the staging lane next to me in a new camry solara asks how to make it fast. told him to put a 300 shot on it. with a straight face he said thats next.....
