Mikey ran a best of 9.76 at 133 I believe and Larry couldn't get his suspension dialed in so his best was around 10.20. The DA was horrible today so everybody said that they were running slower than normal. I chickened out since I don't have a roll bar yet. Watching the video of Mightymouse hitting the wall scared the crap out me so I am going to wait until I get some more safety equipment istalled.

Thanks, I think I am going to try to go to Cecil on the 28th of October. Hopefully there will be nice negative DA air then.

My best was a 9.78 @ 137. The DA was aweful. The car should be 141+ mph. Larry was doing his license passes and they wouldn't let him make full runs until he did his others. Once he was ready for the full passes the track had been oiled down a few times and he couldn't get his 60' and shift times down. I'm getting prices on a TH400 for him tomorrow. I think I finally have him convinced this is the way to go for a race car.

We're planning on going the 28th also John hopefully with a new trans in the car.

Yeah I guess if you really want to go fast you need an auto, but for me I will NEVER get rid of my M6, but then I have a street car first, drag car second. Hopefully I don't break anything between now and Oct 28th and the weather is nice.

I agree with you. I had a 6 speed in the car many year ago too. But when I decided to go to full drag, there was no decision to make. Larry turned this car into a full out race car and I think now he is seeing the light.

Even with the bad DA these cars were fun to watch. I can't wait to see them run in October. If Larry puts a th400 in his car the grudge match should be very interesting.
