Oct 7th sounds good. I would take off work but no biggie. Can you give me the address. It's like 3.5 hours from here I think, but it sounds worth it.

If fellow alexandria/fairfax people wanna meet up before hand to ride down together that would also be cool.

Hey, does anyone or the dyno shop have a tuner for my 94? I just remembered about my damn speed limiter. I wouldn't be able to see my true #'s since it tops out at 105mph (~4k in 3rd gear). Son of a bitch

do they have LS2 tuning capabilities? Me and a bunch of buddies are gonna be in Ocean City for Endless Summer Cruising, so we might be able to come down for this. One is an 04 GTO w/ Heads/Cam/Exhaust/Intake/Tune,etc making 425rwhp/385rwtq, the rest are either stock, or mildly modified looking a tune and/or some numbers, Mustang Dyno's #'s arent as high as dynojets (>7.5%) but are supposed to be really good for tuning. I'll let them know and see what they think.

they told me they dont have LSX tuning capabilities yet but if they have enough interest they will quickly get all the necessary pieces and tools to do so... the guy's a good tuner and does a lot of imports now (porche, bmw, mb, some jap cars) and he seems to know a lot of good information and has tuned LS1's before, he just doesnt have the capability as of now...

So will they be mildly tuning each of our cars or just throwing them on they dyno and seeing what they make? If they can do some mild tuning (need a misfire code tuned out and some knock retard figured out) I'd be even more inclined to head down there.

no, they dont have any of the plugs for our systems I believe... but if you are interested in a tuner here locally I have a guy for you.. he does nice work on some GTO's... but its not the same shop... I'm just going on the 7th for some numbers... Get with a shop called Virginia Speed in VA Beach if you want some tuning done...

I have a tuner up in MD, I just needed some quick help so I didn't have to drive an hour back up there to get it done. No biggie. I don't want to say I'm 100% sure about coming on the 7th as things tend to randomly come up at very inpportune times. However, I will make it the plan for that day, and assuming something doesn't come up, I will be there. I know it's not the answer you want, but I'd rather tell it like it is b/c I find it quite annoying when people say they will show and then don't for no reason.

I'd rather not pay any more money for tuning as I've already paid the standard HPTuners fee with my tuner up in MD but I appreciate the help. Maybe someone on this trip will have HPTuners with them and can hook a brotha up with the simple misfire code

Hey, fix my name on post #1! As for the s4 farnoush is talking about, I asked him in school about it. He said yes, but I'll confirm again with him tomorrow. FYI, I'm not going to go if no one around here goes.
I doubt the shop would get hookups for my LT1, since most going are lsx's, but I really want a tune. As I said before, the top speed limiter on my car will prevent me from seeing my max power. I sorta need a tune up anyways. Let me know if the shop can help.
