Viper/Vette Day
RT .504

1/8 8.679 @ 84.49
1/4 13.179 @ 616.71!!! (timing equipment had some issues on the speed!)
I was happy for my first time down the strip. I got two more runs in that day, but my first was my best. It was great to meet a couple of people from here and put faces to names. Unfortunately on the way home I made it about 10 minutes from home and the car stalled getting off the highway, when I restarted it, the motor was knocking like a bastard. I am going to be pulling the pan tomorrow to see what went wrong, I am hoping its just a timing chain or part of the oil pump, as the car had only 10 psi of oil pressure after the restart when the banging happened. The entire 150 mile ride home when flawlessly until that happened. Oh well, you pay to play.

I had 2 runs 11.66 and one 11.62 @ 116.2, on a 1.65 60". Still on 17" Nitto's.
Don tweaked my 1-2 shift a bit added some fuel up top and I had my cats out.
After that in the heat I was running those 11.66's on a 1.67ish 60".
Hopefully next month in the cool air, I can qualify for a cage

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

I almost dropped some $ on a set myself, I love how Prostars look on 4th gens. But I gotta start saving up for a wedding next year, so I'll probably have to limit the car moding to an intake in the spring and some new tires, thats it. Can't wait to see it on C/F day.
Nice runs off idle
Wonder how it would do with a better tire and stalling on launch?
Wonder how it would do with a better tire and stalling on launch?I pretty sure I set my pinion angle correctly, it's about -3.
Every launch was off idle, and I rolled into it.
I really would like to get a good stall like a PT4000. This little $400 converter is doing pretty respectable though.
