Camaro Firebird Day

I was just curious what it's going to consist of on October 8 at Epping. Is it just going to be racing or will there be a show part too? I don't feel like racing my close to stock car and getting raped.

its bracket racing and im not sure if thers a show or not. but thers also open test and tune too

Yes there is a show. Me and my girlfriend are going up for the show. I would race but Iam not to sure if i wanna risk breaking the stock 10bolt with as much power as iam making.

I will be there and race. Only question is what will break first leaky whining 10 bolt, low oil psi short block or slow to non shifting tranny. When it breaks I will drag it home and make it stronger. Has over 50 1/4 mi passes this year and 2nd set of rear tires are smoked off from street beatings.

Look forward to seeing everyone and especially all the real quick cars. Had a great time at the dyno sunday. Did I win the prize for lowest dyno #s ?

Thanks Don. I know, I know iam a wimp. I do race pretty much every night on the street. The difference is that if the tracks prepped and my car dead hooks, iam afraid to break the rearend a 100 miles away from home with no AAA. At least if I break on the street the tow wont cost 200 dollars or more. Who knows maybe I will go a flog it out there. Just have to wait and see.

sunday's not gonna get here fast enough.. I can't wait to go test my car! Bunch of launches and 2nd gear pulls for me, once it's hooking good, I'll make a full blast at it.. only gonna get one chance though.. the roll bar's going in over the winter. Mine as well tryto tune suspension all day, at least if I am gonna get sent back on the trailer, I want it to be worth while.
