I wouldn't call it racing LOL.. I think I broke out the first round by over half a second heh heh. We had planned on leaving early because Sean needed to be home a little early... which didnt' end up happening after a stop off at the noyzee camp... but anyway.
Car ran 11.06 @ 123.23. 60 foot wasn't all that great, was a 1.606, I think leaving off the converter (stalls at 6200 on the brake) was too much for the tire/track/suspension setup... I wanted to get to a rental Friday at LVD but it doesn't look good right now for that. The gain from the 1/8th (7.097@98.95) was pretty good, so it's making good steam. I get teh 60 foot down to 1.4x like it should be and it will run a good #.. I was hoping for 10.99 or better... it didn't get there, but it was damn close and with a 60 foot like it did I know the car can do it with some more tweaking. Raceweight was 3620 too, so the car's not light by any means.

For the one full run, yes I was in the left lane. It was funny, we watched toyko drift on the way up on the dvd in the truck.... and they were busting my ***** that I didn't need to drift the car down the track LOL.
Front shocks were set at 3, left rear at 3, right rear at 4. If I get to the track this weekend, I'm gonna try setting hte fronts at 2 and both rears at 5, try that and launch the car a little softer to start, gonna try about 4500 to 5000 instead of off the converter at 6200... see what that gets me. The more I think about it, the more it seems like the car's just overpowering the tires at the line.

You had that right rear really cranked up, you have any aftermarket swaybar on your car? I have a spohn 1 inch solid chromoly bar in mine.. but I think over the winter it's gonna come off and a wolfe drag bar, or a MRC rear drag bar setup will be going on, so i can actually load the suspension without binding the rear up with the poly end links.
I'm hoping I get the video tonite so I can see what it was doing, and get some idea what to do with it. if I don't, then I'm gonna put the fronts at 2 and both rears at 5 and start there. I'd almost bet that just launching the car at 4500 and then getting on teh rest of it quickly, not stabbing it will probably work... but until I try it, it's nothing more then a guess.
Of course, a 30x10 tire, a set of 4.56's and lowering the car back to proper ride height would probably do wonders too.. but I'm not ready to take that route yet.. I spent enough $ this year on it LOL.

Makes sense the way you run the shocks now.
I'd get a wolfe bar and be done with it. Every car I know of that has that bar on it works real good... most likly what will go on my car as well over the off season. The heavy stock style spohn one I have works good for a street/strip car, but for a more drag effort car, not the best choice.

if you want to spend a little extra $$ i highly suggest miller race cars rear sway bar. Its on Millers 8 second camaro (the one on pinks) my dads car, and is going on mine next week. It keeps the car square as can be when launching.
I think its like $400
