Who knows about Delaware laws on Cats, ORY's, and sound?
I plan on eventually getting a set of headers. I know its illegal to run without cats but im not sure they even look anymore since they plug it in to find codes at the motor vehicle. I also know there is a noise limit. Just wondering how they test. Any tips to get by would be great.
Thanks,
Erik

sorry for thread hijacking a bit, but theres a good chance I'll be going to grad school in deleware and was wondering if you're allowed to take off your front lisence plate there? when i went down there to visit the school i saw almost everyone without front plates.

There's no front plate law here so rip it off. As far as the cats go, they test the car with a scanner and do a visual so you'll need something there to at least fool them. They didn't say a word to me about noise though, even when I ran it through the first time with no cats on it. I would have passed if they didn't do a visual. They told me to put cats on and bring it back so i did and they gave me my tags no problem.

I think 95 decibals is the limit? The cats depend on the guy in the lane. The last time I had my TA inspected the guy never looked for cats and gave my car the sniffer test instead of the scan.
