Default Anyone from CT ?

I have a 2000 TransAm and am just finishing a 402 aluminum block build with AFR 225 heads, and fast 90/90, etc... Would be nice to find out any spots people with f-bodys or vettes hang out in CT. I'm sooo sick of seeing the VW and honda crowd lol. I live in west haven CT .
Thanks
Ron

West Haven here also. I know there are a few people that go to Heavenly Donuts in Derby. You could also try the CTFBA that would be your best bet too find groups and such.
Good luck getting your car together, looks to be a great setup.

Pretty much the place to be is the Berlin Turnpike, also known as rt 15, Merrit Pkwy. Although it is quiting down due to the fall is hitting soon, but if your looking for a race, im sure you can fine one or 2. (off the pike of course)

No, mine is dark blue and has been in the garage apart for the last year. I have seen a black T/A around though. It just sucked cause any hangouts around that I knew of were honda's or VW's etc... wanted to find some people with real cars to talk too etc... when the car is done I have ls-1 edit and a WB 02 that I'm gonna try to tune it with but may need to find a place with a dyno etc... thats 2 or 3 weeks off though prolly. Any specific nights people hang out in derby ? or anywhere else near here ?
Thanks
Ron H.

Yeah I used to hang out at the turnpike with my old car I had (95 formula) burgundy , 383 afr heads, paxton supercharger, etc... but thats been off the road for a few years as I hydroplaned and hit a guardrail with the back bumber and have been too busy to fix it. as far as a race, as of now I just wanna get the 2000 on the road and tuned etc... hopefully before it snows . I mainly wanted to find a place to hang out on certain nights and talk with people of the same interests. But I'm sure they'll be a race or 2 eventually
Thanks
Ron

Heavenly Dounut is a cool show, I enjoyed it very much. All we did was trying to get Sean a race, after he got the TH-400 swapped in.

Thats cool, I work in the milford bowling center there. Been there for about 6 yrs. I'll have to stop by the heavenly show on sundays. I remember maybe 7 yrs ago coming to milford with my other car and there seemed to be a good amount of cars hanging around. Till my car gets done I may just lurk on board to get to know some people kind of lol. Would be weird to just show up and be like hey whats up !!! Hopefully I'll have the car started this week or at least by the weekend. Then I can attempt to tune it . Though I may still go the tuner route.
Thanks
Ron

I agree the car scene has died down bigtime since like 97-98 when I had my camaro. BUT we need to make something happen to make it better. I want to organize a weekly cruise next year...not sure where yet but I am going to work on it over the winter....
