Stupid question:

Is the k-member the only thing supporting the engine?

It was topped out with the 3.70's? What's the lmiter set for/where does the power curve carry to.. I'd think it would make power up into the 7400 range and would be good for that mph already.. I think nastyta's car was living at the 7200 to 7600 rpm range at the track... but I think he's ona 370 ci motor, might be more of a revver then a 408, who knows.

probably will be better with the 3.50's.. kid out this way that's got a big power turbo car's still on the stock 3.42's.... rear and all, why I have no idea.

true... very true.

Imagine what it would do with a powerglide and a set of 3.23's.... ya probably be able to go about 100 or so in first gear depending on the gearset.

MIke is running a streetable hydraulic roller (small in size) so his peak power is lower just on that fact alone.

yep i see my peak tq by 3800-4k at 15psi...we spun it to 6500ish that day though with the rev limit set to 7k...it could have gone 150 if i made the last 15 psi pass and went to 7k. But 12 was it and i would rather not rev it that high. No need.
