Default header install in northeast pa

I was thinking about picking up some headers for a christmas gift to myself. I was wondering if there is anyone lcoal who is comfortable installing these? I don't have the tools or know how to do it myself, but would love to give a hand and learn a lil bit. I live in east stroudsburg, pa(18301) and would be willing to drive a lil bit. nearest sponser to me is 70 miles away, i'd like to keep it soem what closer than that. . I'd be willing to hand over some cash obviously as well. thanks.

I've installed numerous sets of headers on LS1s now. SLPs (ouch), FLPs, SuperMaxx, Pacesetters, and Kooks. If you're interested the guys in the club are always up for an install and we have a garage with two lifts to use. I'm about 70 miles from you, though. Straight shot across 80. I know it all too well, I used to commute to Bangor to work.

i knwo its not a hard thing, I just don't have a lot of experience. Like if I broke a bolt, i'd have no idea what to do. i also do not have the tools.

for the price most shops charge to install them you could buy most of the tools needed...personally I did my header install by myself for the most part...just needed help lining up the ypipe connection to my old exhaust as well as reinstalling my EGR...You don't have EGR so thats one less thing you'd have to do

I know about them. They're kinda far, plus I'd really like to get my hands dirty and help. I just don't have the tools what so ever. I think they only charge 320 or so for the install too.

It's not too bad, too bad you're not up near north jersey else i'd lend a hand... although working in the 20* temps isn't the most fun, it could be worse.
