My friend Benji senior year in high school was 145lbs and did 360lbs, I think he broke some kind of world record.

Jesus some of these numbers are insane...Ive been lifting for 4-5 years straight and I can bench around 300 pounds or so for a couple of reps and im 6'8 255 pounds. I think my height/really long arms hurt me a little though, nice numbers to the original poster though!

You should totally do it man. I regret not entering comps myself even after a few friends told me I should. I used to be around 168-170 lean. I would warm up with 225 for 12 reps then stack it up to a final of 4 reps @ 315. I really regret never doing it. The only bad thing is my right shoulder is totally F**KED up from the heavy benching.

Nice a thread for meat heads!! My all time best before blowing my right shoulder out in July was 225 for 20 reps, 315 for 5 reps then 385 max. It was a freak night. I would like to attribute the max bench press to all of the cheerleaders that were doing squats. They were like WTF???
I'm about 6'4 225

I dislocated / destroyed my right shoulder in July its still fucked up. I can do 225 for 18 reps and 330 max now.

So now I have 2 fucked up shoulders. The left one I got surgery on 3 years ago. And the right one needs a big tune up. I rolled over lastnight and it popped out again.

I'm gonna put my max bench press with signature. lol. Who's With me? Meat heads unite!

yeah....i have since stayed away from the bar and use dumbbells more often than not. I was getting aches in my elbows at 22 years old. I still do it every once in a while just for an ego boost haha and thank you for the compliments!

Is that your shirted lift or raw? My weak *** is 185 and hitting 275 recently. Used to be 315 before my fatass got married and had a kid lol.

Actually there are girls about that weight that can bench more. Records are crazy nowadays especially in comps where you can use gear. Now that is a shirted bench not raw like your friend but there are still guys benching insane amountsat very low bodyweights.
