Congrats to Philly. They outplayed Dallas and Andy Reid out-coached Bill Parcells, without a doubt.... TO was made to look like a fool, which was a nice Christmas gift in itself...Looks like these 2 teams could possibly meet again in the playoffs...Garcia was the real deal today--way above the Romo performance. Things are starting to get interesting....but before you get any championship hats and T-shirts printed up, remember: The road to Superbowl 41 goes thru New Orleans and Chicago..... WJ

Actually, I've done very well this season betting against both the Steelers and the Eagles....and I'm not afraid to give credit when one of them should pull off a upset and win 1 or 2.....unlike most of the Pa. fans around here when it comes to giving credit to a team other than theirs... Well I agree Vick is over-rated, but you cant be serious about Romo...he is certainly better than Bledsoe due to his mobility, but he is far from a good QB. They have a solid defense, two very good RB's (Barber III/Jones), a great TE, Good WR's (Owens/Glenn), so why arent they winning? Their O-line is a little suspect but still he should somewhat be succeding with the quality pieces around him. He had that one monster 5 TD game, then 1 or 2 good games, and then he has struggled, especially of late. I think teams are starting to figure out his tendencies and are capitalizing on that. He could end up being a good or great qb, but as of right now he isnt anywhere near there, hence why I feel he is over-rated and shouldnt certainly not be in the pro-bowl (to his defense, besides Brees all other NFC qbs are crap).

 

And for what its worth im a Romo fan and have been rooting for him since day 1

 

If you don't think he is a good quarterback, then you think he is a bad one. What is it exactly that makes you think he is a bad qb?

 

Romo The Homo

 

Romo is a great qb taking into consideration that he had never taken a meaningful snap before being tossed to the lions monday night against the giants. The guy has gotten the job done but of course is gona make mistakes like any inexpirienced qb. THe guy has heart and brains, he never gave up against the eagles while the rest of the team was hanging thier heads he was out there breaking tackles and trying to make plays. Our defence is hurting us, once they get down by a couple of scores they seem to give up. The cowboys are a good team but like ive said before they have a weakness like all NFC teams. Theyre in ok shape and can even win the division still if the eagles lose......so we'll have to wait and see

 

So u think Parcells is as good as gone end of this season?

 

I dont think hes bad, I think he has potential, but I think he is over-rated as of right now. He is a pro-bowl QB who hasnt played in or won a meaningful game and honestly hasnt really proved himself as of yet. I think everyone was blinded by his breakout performance for the first few weeks, a la rex grossman, and people jump on the bandwagon and call him a good/great/pro-bowl caliber qb when he isnt. Also, I was kidding when I said he sucks, he is decent, but he certainly isnt a good/great qb. I feel he is decent with a good amount of upside. He could be good, he could be great, hell he could be a hall of famer down the road, but I just feel he hasnt done enough to be labeled good or great just yet. Again I like Romo and I feel he could be a good qb down the road but looking at his and the cowboys performance the last few weeks when they really needed to win makes me think otherwise.
