Default Couple 25.2 Updates!!!

Dropped the the chassis out of the body to be painted...Figured I would post some updated pics....

Very nice.


Got a question though. What goes into your "passanger" area design. Mainly the floor pan frame, cross-members, and trans tunnel. Note the sig. project of mine, I'm trying to get good ideas for torsenial stiffness/strenght, while keep weight down. The orignal Lotus design has a lot of "trans tunnel tubing", something I'd like to minumize.

You have to be careful of what you remove when it comes to the tubing...Most of what you see is needed to pass Cert...

No no...I think you misunderstood. The originaly Lotus 7s have a lot of trans tunnel tubing (significantly more than this).

So...25.2 is pretty set upon where those tubes need to run?


I'm also not building to cert 25.2, lol.

looks very very nice. The pic's don't do that color justice, the way the metallic looks on that is sweet, it's just that little bit different to set it apart.


did you spray it with any clear afterwards?
