Didn't ESP assemble/ build this motor for Scotty originally, or did he buy it supposedly done-up by someone else? I don't believe Eric took bogus pics of stock rods/Ross slugs from another motor. One last question from me: Did Eric pay Scott $4000, or $4500, like he says? Without any cash receipts, or cancelled checks, they could 's until the end of time over this, plus neither has a forum trader rating, although some feel that no rating makes no difference, to me it's important. How long until this thread gets lock or disappears.

$4500 for a forged shortblock and Ported LS1 heads. This kid got screwed even if there were forged rods in there.

I miss those days.Alot of fun We still ended up tuning that car

Now,this whole mess. I'm on the fence. Scott should of got the motor to him ASAP. As for the parts,I'm figuring Scott didn't even know that the stock rods and Ross pistons were there. He probly got lied to from what I see.
Either way the kid has a valid post.

I dont think the part about knowing about the rods is true. If you read the thread in member feedback. The ws6on19s found a thread from scotty selling the motor months before his purchase and Scotty lists the motor as having stock rods.
I remember somebody else chiming in (sonic snake)on that thread saying they also new the rods were forged Eagle? And that makes me wonder why he was sure of the build. Scotty new it did not have forged rods!!!!!!!
