LoL thats what I said a few posts back, cowl hoods look sick on Chevy/GMC trucks. Honestly thats the way I would go as the other hood has way too many things going on and I think it will detract from the clean look of your truck Dan.

I don't think it looks good at all. That cowl would be a lot better. Much more understated.

Isn't the highest area of your turbo setup closer to the driver side of your motor? Is the built-up cowl area on the hood shown big (wide) enough to clear your high point on motor? WJ

that's the thing, the bov is gonna probably hit the hood regardless. the cowl would be to let heat out, not for clearance.

i found this pic. http://www.goodmarkindustries.com/gr...ED%20COLOR.jpg

i want a low, wide cowl if i get one. the reflexxions one is taller and narrower

I favor the cowl hood myself but I dont think the scoop looked too bad
That grill you have is a bolt over? You might look into a less restrictive grill?

Dan, why not take your stock steel hood to a reputable body shop. Buy a Harwood cowl/scoop that's just tall and wide enough to take care of your clearance problem w/the turbo pipe and have them cut and blend it into your stock hood. Then you're sure it won't hit anything sticking up under there...Harwood makes some slick-looking stuff...WJ

it looks ok and its functional. the vents are kinda odd, it would look better if the vents were behind the hood scoop or somrthing or maybe facing bckwards insttead of on the sides like that

I say white trash due to its supposed to be on a Camaro persay but that truck can back it up with the power. But most people who 1st look at it will say trash. But I did like the pic near the end of the 1st pg showing a nice smooth cowl.
