Would You Take This Deal? $29,385 (after current incentives) '06 (New) GTO A4 17's. Been on the lot 6 months, 40 miles on it.
Would you take this deal?
Supposedly the invoice is $31,885, minus $2500 factory rebate=$29,385.
How far into or past the hold-back can I expect to push it?
Anyone know how much the hold-back is?

MSRP on a 06 GTO $33,290
Invoice $32,139 (No including Local Ad Fee)
So 29 is a fair deal.
Holdback is maybe about 700 to 900 dollars on that car.
Maybe you can get it for 28,5....But they won't sell it for 26K.

mine was sitckerd 37k and it was an 04 left over new...this was in 05...i walked out with it for 26k...thats way overpriced...24-26k tops. Mine even had the spolier, custom rims and tires as well. 4k option.

Seen alot better here in NJ. And no way i would pay gas guzzler tax for a A4 GTO 21mpg highway thats horrible. M6 all the way i was and may still look into getting one

i have seen a few on local lots moving at around 27k. i would push them for more than jsut current incentives. it is themiddle of winter, best they can hope for is to move it in 2 more months once it is warm again and it has gone even further down in value.
if you really want a GTO, i seem to remember a few sitting on AliWantsAnSS' lot in flemington, nj. hit her up, she can prolly hook you up with a great deal

I know they aren't selling, but these stupid dealers just won't seem to let them go. I've seen 6speeds, without the gas tax go for 27's. But when I was shopping for one two months ago, I couldn't get an A4 for less than $29+change. So I went with an 05.

There are at least 3 of them at a dealer near me just sitting collecting dust for the past year. I would def try and get it cheaper. Tell the guy you don't need to get the car from him. I am sure you can get one for 28k or less easy!

how sweet its going to be to be able to line up to a challenger or camaro. I'm sick of all these ricers floating around I can't wait til this ponycar war is in full effect more muscle on the street thats what I like.
True don't expect a killer resale value. Then again F Bodies resale are pretty poor as well. Lets face it you can find some nice ls1's for $7k!
By the time GM gets their **** together and actually builds the Camaro, I bet people will be sick of looking at it since the advertizing started 3 years too early. imo
