Default Eastside Performance??

well I remember talking to some of you guys about a local shop that does good work cam installs and such, and you guys recomended eastside so I told one of my buddy's about it and he says don't go there because they send their cars out and they don't even do the work they have somebody else do it or something like that??? I don't know I'm not trying to talk bad just trying to know some stuff here. So is eastside somebody I can depend on to install and tune my gto right or not? Basically trying to prove my freind wrong here.

Must be confusing them with another shop- Eastside doe's their own work, except for porting and machine shop stuff.

Eastside is a great co. I have multiple, personal friends as customers. Excellent work, that put out great numbers on the dyno and at the track.

i heard the only thing they send out besides their machine shop stuff is the vehicle to the GM dealer to get the PCM reflashed and then tune it from scratch if somebody else already manipulated the factory PCM tuning

this could be wrong tho...i heard it from a third party

Not sure where your friend gets his info, but he's wrong. All works done in house (besides machine stuff). Great guys, They've done a bunch of work for me with no complaints, I would recommend them to anyone.

They did that for me. Only because the previous tuner had locked the PCM. They even flatbedded it to the dealer. Cost is usually like $50 or 60. Ken however was nice enough to drop the charge because the dealer took their sweet time, wasn't his fault at all.

Other than that, they're a good bunch, and super nice guys. I don't know where you heard the information, but they build their own LS1s and do their own installs. Might have machine work and chasis building farmed out.

Feel free to PM me or SprSpt and we will answer any and all questions you may have on potential work to be done on your car

East Side Performance is a full service shop that can handle anything from mild to wild, engines are assembled in house and all installations are done here also as is the tuning on the dynojet chasis dyno

again feel free to ask questions we answer the phone

yeah I just got off the phone with sean. When I order these parts I want to have them shipped to eastside not to my house. So whats the best way to pay for them?? ( I have cash only) should I make a money order? Or what exactly is the best way to handle it?

everything is done in house, except the engine machining, and I think if you were to have a k member done, they have a place that will dothe alignment for you. Other then that everything is done in house.

you can either order teh parts yourself from one of the sponsors to the right, from kooks themselves, or have the shop get them. You can have them shipped to the shop, or to your house, whatever is easier. Just talk to them about whatever you are gonna do.

You should just sit down with ESP and go over all this stuff.Alot of times it's cheaper to have the shop supply and install the parts.
