Congrats to Alex on the win. I knew I was in trouble when you should up even though we did not race but I am sure we will in the future. Thanks for the offer on the belt man, you a true sport.

Barry and QTP, I am glad you kept this alive one more year and we should some growth in this class. 6 cars within half a second if I recall correct....nice!

Hello, and I am new to this site and the forum.
I joined the series with my ImpalaSS for the first race and will attend the other 3 races, well i will try. I was wondering if this series has a points list or it is just 4 individual races?
I am not that good but got very lucky with a red Corvette I ran second round. You got one fast good looking ride!

I'm not sure what that would be. 2000 TA stock rear, 6 speed, 470-510 rwhp (have not dyno'd yet) Maybe high 11's on drag radials ?

You'd go in

Radial Tire Bracket 1 13.49 and Quicker
Payout $150.00 Winner & $75.00 Runner

and you can attempt to qualify for Quick Time 8 too

We are trying to make the event for this week. The motor is on a rush to get done by tuesday (Parts will be here tuesday) at our machine shop. We are looking to get the motor finished and in the car Weds. night. I am hoping to hit the track on thursday/friday before the event. Only problem is I won't have the full cage or my licensing passes done by Saturday so I'll be slowing the car down to run the event so I will be running the quck 8 and slick bracket.

You have two qualifiers then eliminations...however the way this works you can run in the slick class, which is bracket, and you will get two time trials there and the Quick Time 8 is free if you qualify

If there are a minimum of eight registered cars for the Quick 8, then you cannot run both classes. That hasn't happened yet though. See everyone Saturday.

Not sure about that. I thought any car in any of the EFI classes with an LS motor can attempt to qualify for the Quick 8 by making a qualifying pass. We should check with Barry on that Saturday

Since the car counts are not huge it is OK to run in the Quick Time 8 and the brackets. But we will not hold up the QT8 if someone is running in the brackets and has not gotten back in time to the lanes. The QT8 is the more important class of the event.
