Picked up the craftsman 33 gal compressor with tool kit Saturday. Should make doing things on the car easier.

I bought the same compressor last spring. Between the nitrous pump, sand blaster, and spray guns, it has to run non stop alot of times since I'm asking alot of it. Works great and has never missed a beat. Make sure you break it in before you use it.

congrats dave, that the one i have. do your self a favor and take that tool kit and throw it in the woods... it sucks the ratchet works ok. the impact is pathetic. did you get a outlit in your garage? you arent supposed to use extension cords, it cuts down the power greatly....

i have up to a total of 75 feet of hose if i need it, but you must turn the psi up more then the reccomended 90psi wich will make the compressor run more, but then again it its job....

Your gonna go sick of listening to a oil-free compressor. Personally Id return it and get an oil lubed one. Much much quieter.

120v I believe. Pluge into a regular outlet.

I did hear it would be noisy compared to the oil lube ones, but it was cheap enough.

I have one of those.. just make sure when it starts to take longer to catch up or a little more noise, get the new "plastic" piston (washer) rings... you should see what it looks like in that cylinder/piston area.. you won't believe it.. I am fixing ours now.. been weird for months now, and took it apart, and was blown away... plastic ring sandwiched between washers is the piston.. LOL... I would of said get an oil for sure.. my other two are better, but more $ for sure.

I roll mine outside the garage when I use it a lot. Scares the hell out of my 2yr old when it fires up. She doesnt mind the noise the Thunder Gun makes though. Tough to get work done while the little ones are whining. I told you not to watch me welding !!!!

I've thought about getting one of these too. Btw... how do these run without oil anyway? No lube at all?

I spent the extra money and got the husky pro 26 gallon. Much quieter than an oilfree.

Get the quiet one for those that are still looking. The noise will drive you insane if you are doing anything that keeps is running a bunch. I finally gave mine up for a twin and she purrs like a kitten. Much happier.

Definitly easier than the last time we did Gary's heads. With the little compressor.
