Default Anyone Else Infected?

With car sickness? Just wondering how many of my eastern-states brothers and sisters have a problem in which cars consume too much of their time or finances?

For me, shopping for cars online is a daily routine, and I inevitably find something worth investigating every few months, and then before you know it my wallet has shrunk.

I was more into thirdgens than fourthgens until this year, when I bought my '95 Formula. Now, I love the damn car so much, I am going to look at another '95 Formula, but with a 6 speed, later this week.

I need a cure for the problem, or more disposable income!

Just venting, I guess.

Tell me about it. I'd probably own my own home by now. LOL
Dang car.

I can only afford a tranny and tires this year (wedding).

I think I can see the horizon though on modding the car. Rear/Cage/N20. Then it's on to the next car (new Camaro, maybe) As long as I don't have kids, I'll just collect cars . That and I gotta buy a new daily driver at the end of the year, oh wait.. thats dumping more $ into cars too lol.

Or just move outta MA, it will be like your income doubled

The 1st few years you get married, car modding is at a minimum, it's called save up for house then mortgage time.

That's why I want to do it now, but she already chewed me out for getting a 50inch Plasma TV instead of a ring. My plan is to secretely save and just tell her it's an inexpensive mod... Great foundation of a trusting marriage I know.

LOL, Last year I said "Hey I'm buying $2k Heads" This year I said " I'm buying a $2k Transmission".

It's not worth hiding it, you gotta let her know what she's getting herself into.
The only difference between me and you is that I bought her ring 1st

I really should warn her because I spend so much money on my cars and bikes. I will almost definately have to get the ring first too though.

And to make it worse she isn't falling for my "it's just a symbol of our love so why waste all that money on it" speech.

heh ya think that's bad... how about "honey, I'm gonna build a 10K motor to put in the transam that never gets driven, then have to put a min of a rollbar in it, all kinds of safety stuff... and of course a nitrous kit. Oh, and next year I'll be buying a trailer to bring it to the track"

Ask me how that went over..... I dunno how I pulled that off, but it happened... and the trailer is getting picked up this Friday.
