Maybe you should sell off a few toys that you have and buy you dad something nice. Maybe send him on a vacation for a few days. It won't be a bad idea to let some of your things go to show your dad that you care for him more then all the toys you have .

 

he leaves for florida in 2 weeks. he is going there for 3 weeks.
he realy doesnt care that i have the toys, its accually funny, he yell and scream when i got my sleds, now he cant wait to get snow next season because he wants to steel them for a couple weekends.

same with the race car/trailer. he gets all into it when im up and running, always hangin in the garage helpin out ect, using the trailer to tow his bikes around ect ect

he also jumps on my harley every now and then, says, i love this thing. almost makes me want to get rid of my fat old man bike and build another hot rod harley. lol
he loves it, but catch him on the wrong day, and forget it.

like i said, if i just went and got it. first time he uses it, i wont see it for hours, he will just be gone with it, but yesterday he just needed to yell and scream about somthing, and that was an easy target.

 

when i was a kid, i worked for my dad. he was harder on me than any of his other employees. it really sucked cuz when you had a shitty day at work (every day), you coudlnt get away from your boss.

its a little different for you because you are taking over the family business (which i never had any interest in)... but still...

if i was in your boat, i'd try to get the old man to sell the business to you faster, so he can sell the house to you, and he can retire to the FL house... then he'll just go back to being dad and not your boss.

not yet. havent even realy talked to my old man much. i think we are butting heads real bad, and neither one of use want to talk unless its at work about work.

You know you're going to end up getting that thing though. We'll have to rip it on Winni this summer. I'm up at my buddies house at misty harbor from time to time. I know a good amount of people up there who will be down to go out and rip to Brohm Bay or wherever.
