I think he said that it was reading wrong, but he also said the same thing about TTP's dyno reading the car as close to 14:1 and being wrong a few weeks ago.
Two dyno's both reading 14:1? Both wrong?
For Brandon's sake, I hope so. 14:1 will sure give you a nice dyno number, and will make a fun sight driving up hill, in 6th gear, in the middle of the summer. LOL

We changed one out to verify the A/F was true as we were getting a lean reading, the sensor turned out to be okay though. We had a few problems on some vehicles due to exhaust leaks and taking readings from the tail pipes, in those cases we switched to an O2 bung. There was a vehicle running a stand alone EMS in it and A/F reads between it & the dyno were consistent with each other, and today I've been working on a FI tune with the same sensor from yesterday and it's matching the in car wideband. I wish I knew your car had a WB in it, I would have watched both lol.

I know on mine it scared the crap out of me, but we know it was my turbos that messed it up. That's why I have duals in the glove box. Because we all know 18:1 would not have even made it through one pull.

what if the wideband in the car is wrong and you're actually running lean Brandon?
If HSW and TTP can have band sensors according to you, is it not also possible that your wideband is the one that is wrong and your car IS in fact running lean?
Even 12.8 is leaner then most experienced tuners will tune for.

yeah im thinking of going w/ the 215 TFS and American Racing 1 7/8 headers and looking for that 500 number.

Gee Brandon with you making the smirf comment, and also in reference to being in contact with HSW, I would almost imagine a bottle of some sort. Also, I believe your a tad bit too old for that kind of bottle. So there may be only one other bottle I could be talking about,
But regardless, great numbers man. I sure hope it's not your wideband off

his car is NOT running that lean. im sure brandon is a bright guy and a simple reading of the plugs would depict a lean condition like that. like matt said the exhaust leaks caused most of the problems. im also sure brandon logs kr and has never mentioned any issues of timing being pulled out.
i had my car there months ago and it was reading pretty lean- about 1 to 1.5 leaner than it should be (like 13.5 instead of 12.6 or whatever) found a BIG leak at one of the collectors/y pipe connection. fixed it and the car was dead on what it should be. i could hardly hear the leak also, but starting the car up cold and FEELING the exhaust joints i could feel the air pulsating out.
about the dyno reading high, that is also untrue because my friend jim's formula dyno'd ~ 335rwhp months ago on that same dyno. he changed from a 3.42 geared 10 bolt to a 4.10 geared 12 bolt and went from a 26" tall tire to a 28" tall tire, but went from his restrictive ******** exhaust (forget what brand, didn't flow well and was quiet as hell) to true duals...
he dyno'd 310 that day, which is pretty much dead on considering the gear/rear change dropping the power considerably on the dyno but the true duals helping out a little bit. if the dyno read high he would've no doubt dyno'd higher than before or at least closer. his a/f was dead on also, the same as it was when he dyno'd months ago and pulled 335rwhp.
BRANDON- nice #'s man. can't wait to see that thing on the squeeze. it's gonna be a fun ride for ya! you gonna change out the gears or go with a taller tire for the spray? or say the hell with it and try it on the current setup?

Yup very true a few months ago i put down actually 346/343 full bolt on car with stock 16" formula wheels & tires Hooker cat back exhaust stock 10 bolt 3.42 gears Yank 3800 stall and it ran mid 12s
Then i put on TSP true duals 12 bolt w/4.10s Bogarts with 28" tall DRs through the same stall and made a WHOPPING 310/315 Now i'm hoping to run mid 13s
