I've heard positive and negative about FBC, the only issue I had with them was their ignorance of the 3.4L v6. But I cannot expect a shop that works on LT1's and LS1's to know that motor as much as they know what they work on all the time. Jason, though sometimes difficult to get ahold of, is quite a nice guy. They really helped me out when I was in a bind and all of my lifters went to ****, my heads were trashed, my O2's f'ed up, and my cam position sensor out of whack. Now if they would take it back because the A/C still doesn't work then I'd be their customer for life.
I also know that the guys from GB that support PSI, though liked to talk, had plenty enough speed to back it up. There are quite a few very fast cars to come out of that shop as well.
Doesn't look like you're in too much of a bind with those 2 shops not too far away.
