I hate people!!! My girl went to dunks sunday at 430 in the morning, she pulled up to see if they were open, went up to the door and went in to grab a coffee and came outside and here little mazda got ******* stolen. Now this was in Raynham none the less. I guess it was a lesson not to leave the keys in the car. The police put out a apb on the car and we got a call saying they found it in brockton. They stole her purse which had her license her social card, debt cards and her cellphone. Boy ill tell ya this pissed me the **** off for the day. Iam just glad to see shes alright.
Last summer, I spent 6 weeks serving in Grand Jury Duty here in upstate NY.
It was out job to listen to the charges for various criminal activites over the weeks and decide which ones were valid and which were not.
Anyway, I cant tell you how many cases came in front of us related to a stolen car! In all but one, it was becuase the owner left the keys in the car, sometimes with the engine running, sometimes not. In all cases the owners felt:
I was only gone for a minute,
Its my driveway,
I can see the car,
ect..ect..ect..
So yes, the thiefs do suck...they are watching! If they think the keys are in the car, they are probably going to strike.
In all cases, the DA had enough evidence for us to send the cases onto trial.

Yeah she pulled up to the front door to see if they were open and she left the key in the car and went in and came back out like 3min later and the car was gone.
