Slowhawk, funny thing you mention that. I was going to head down to VA for a car cruise this weekend, but decided against it (need tires). But I still have Friday & Monday off, making it a 4 day weekend. I've been to North Conway a few times already, (Private condo, Jacuzzi & stuff ), The only thing I haven't done up there is Kancamangus pass in the hawk and the downhill slide. I'm thinking a Sam Adams brewery tour, see plymouth rock, Salem as of now (All this I can do without throwing the dog in the kennel )

I think that's a great idea!! Cheesy, I bet they'll even let you bring your dog!! You can help DIESO with his work stuff, and then hang out at the bar later during the night. Since you've been up there a bunch of times, you can show DIESO around, to all the shops. He can get some great deals at the outlets too.
I think the 2 of you should just ride up in the hawk! Make sure you have people take a bunch of pictures of you two at the Kangamangus lookout points.

i guess i'll try to see some sights but it looks like i'll just end up drinking for a couple of days. i'm going to see if they have a shooting range where i can rent guns up there. it's been a while since i went shooting.

A few wks ago, some local kid who had been fueding w/a local cop, got stopped by him, and ended up shooting him dead after being sprayed w/mace. Then some ex-marine bystander guy shot the kid dead...I'm sure the townie cops are on the rampage and Rambo-routine up there, so just try to keep your *** out of the limelight, Joe....getting put in the crossbar-motel in Conway area could be very hazardous to your health these days. Have fun but--- be careful. WJ

Happened right in Conway. The cop and the kid had beed fueding for years. After being stopped, the kid asked the officer, to radio for another cop to come and handle his stop because of past bad blood between them....the cop refused, the kid took off, the cop caught up and ripped the kid out of his car, sprayed him in face w/mace, and then the kid pulled out a piece and shot the cop dead. Then a bystander shot the kid dead...lots of national media coverage just a couple of wks. ago. Some locals said it was bound to happen. Kid was a cousin of that Bodie Miller, big time olympic team skier.....WJ
