Keep the mice out of your car!!!
My car live a bit of a sheltered life, no snow, almost no rain, etc
So Ifire it up this year after its winter nap, and I am hit in the face with some bad smelling debris flying out of the vents. So off the the dealer and they pull the fan and take a 5gal bucket worth of mouse nest out of the fan. i get eht car back and it still smells. Next its off to the detailer for an interior cleaning and 24hrs of ozone deodorizing. I get the car back and its clean but as sonn as the fan is turned on the stink is back. So now its back to the dealer They pull the dash and remove the HVAC system, The mice have also made nests in the heater core and AC evap.
I get the car back today after 4 days in the shop and it is smell free.
only 1700.00 lighter in the checkbook.
So then next time you see a cute little mouse, smash its skull in, it prob just pissed in your car.

Yeah those Fu#%er's suck. I now put traps out under the car and put a couple glue boards in the car on top of newspaper. I know 1 got in my car last year. I found little poops in the cup holder.
It's a gross *** smell for sure. I had one last summer die behind the wall in my apartment. Stunk for weeks.

Just stick a little dish of moth ***** on the floor at driver or passenger area when storing your car for the winter....mice hate the smell of moth ***** and won't nest up anywhere near the smell of them. Sometimes, all the rubber ducting has to be changed on a car's ventilating system when mouse **** gets right into the rubber....the smell never goes away. PS, in order to smell moth *****, you have to first lift their wings. Good luck. WJ

That sux. I usually use tennis ***** in the exhaust but that won't stop them from getting where they got to in yours.
On a side note, I learned from TV that mice have 500 lb anvils in the ceilings all over to drop on your head, not to mention they are buds with bulldogs and canaries carrying bowling ***** so beware

Ha, I was told this story by someone else so I will probably botch it up a bit. Anyway someone with a mustang that was working on his car for a bit didn't tape or cover up anything up while not working on it. Anyway, a rat got in there, he put the car back together and ran the car without knowing. I believe it damaged his brand new blower, if not that, something else expensive. I guess he kind of deserved it though, but still, those little stinkers!

Thanks for the tip, I park the Vette unattended for long periods of time and my garage is near the woods so I might try this.

Use dryer sheets that you would put in your laundry. Just put a bunch of them around the inside of your car and the cowl panel. Mice hate the smell (same effect as mothballs) and they leave your car smelling a whole lot better than mothballs. Ive been using dryer sheets for 2 winters now and have not had any problems in a neighborhood known for having lots of little mice around.

The moth ***** do not smell up your car if they're put in a plastic bowl or cup. They only make your car smell if they end up touching the carpets, etc. I use the moth ball trick in boats, sleds stored outside for the summer, etc. It works for chipmunks, squirrels as well. Those little rodent bastards can do alot of damage if they get into your stuff..... WJ
