I just got back from visiting Sam along with two other members from the LS1 community. He is heavily sedated and still on the ventilator but I think he knew we were there. The prognosis remains the same but we remain optimistic.

Please continue to pray for Sam, he needs it. Sam is a great guy and the type that would go out of his way to help a total stranger.

hope he gets better soon. i'm sorry to hear that. i've seen him around the boards numerous times and he seems like a great guy.

Sadly Sam passed away today. Sam did not want to live on a ventilator for the rest of his life and I can't say that I blame him. The doctors removed it and he passed away about 15 minutes later.

Please keep Sam's family in your prayers. I had the pleasure of meeting Sam's mother and she is a real nice person.
