Have never actually had any dealings with him, but I really do wish him all the luck and God Bless Him during this tough time. We'll be thinking of him in the future. He is part of our forum family.

I first met him on LS1.com back in Feb-March of 1998 when we both had 98 Ram Airs on order, and have known him over the past nine years. Had alot of fun with him and others from this area, and he is going to be missed.

Wow. I havent talked to him in a long time. He was very helpful when I was getting into the mods for me (amongst others too!). But I destinctly remember when KbearZ28 and I went up to his house and we bought a bunch of stuff from him. He was doing his 383 at the time I believe. His friend Mike was there too who bought my old 10 bolt. According to Mike they had not seen eye to eye on something and I really hope they resolved that.
But anyways Sam was an awesome guy.My heart goes out to his family and close friends. I truly respect his decision to not suffer any longer also.

I don't recall meeting him, perhaps I had run into him at one the tracks when I lived in Jersey, I am not sure. But he was one of the posters that I recognized his name and knew he went way back to the early days of these forums. Very sad news. I may have missed it, how old was he?
my condolences to his family and friends. 
That's a real bummer. I remember Sam was one of the first guys I met when I got my car. Had to be back in '01. He immediately gave me lots of advice on what mods to do and such. Very nice guy and a great car guy. He'll be sadly missed.

Damn.. I hadnt talked to Sam much the past few months, had he been bad for a while?? I was planning on calling him this weekend to see if he would meet up at sheetz in hbg by 322 and cruise..
Sam's black TA is the entire reason I fell in love with TAs. Still one of the nastiest ive ever heard. Finally met him in person last may/june i believe after you and him finished up the vette and talked to him for a few hours.. Not many car guys around here and we definately lost the best one.
Such a great guy, what a shame............................

Wow.... i'm not sure what to say now. Mike FRC called me and let me know that things were not well. I contacted Cool98Z28 and let him know. I knew from the information I had that he would not make it but finding out on here is not really how i wanted to find out. I met and talked with Sam quite a bit here and there with dyno days in Mechanicsburg etc and we talked just not to long ago about meeting up to check out his STS Corvette and he wanted to see my FRC. Talked about taking a cruise and all of us starting to get together like we used to sometime and have some fun. My deepest sympothy goes out to his family and friends.
