Can you use any type of brake fluid for the clutch???

Default Can you use any type of brake fluid for the clutch???

I just changed my fluids and its black already, I was looking at wilwood hi temp brake fluid to replace my existing clutch fluid. yes/no??

We just use regular dot 3.

I used DOT4, but there should not be any noticable diff in the pedal feel. I choose DOT4 due to the improved boiling point, since I have headers. I also wrapped the clutch line to ensure it stays nice.

This will probably be the greatest help to fluid survival. Most will say that any DOT3/4 fluid is OK, but if you do not plan on flushing it often, the better high temp/racing fluids (Motul 600 RBF, Neo 610, Endless 610 or Castrol SRF [CRAZY $$$ for that one!!]) are what will last the longest.

Yea, I plan on doing it even so many 1000's or if it starts looking crappy, I did mine bout 2k ago, so ill check it this week, and i'll see where it stands.
