Default got my car back today...

the car came out great. the car made 462/415 at the wheels on a nice hot 90-95 degree day today. i really cant thank don, keith, marcel and everyone else who helped out enough for all their work. you guys are the best. anyone who plans on doing anything to their car would be foolish to not bring it to don. not only did it make great power, but with the speed density tuning, it drives incredibly smooth. you'd never know the size of the cam from driving it around, ill say that much. not one buck, surge, stall, anything. throttle response is insane, and as far as power, well the dyno numbers speak for themselves. everything is perfect and i really couldnt be happier with the outcome.

as for what we did, AFR 205's, custom Slowhawk cam, ported FAST 90/90 combo, Kooks headers, no cats, electric waterpump, and underdrive pulley.

ill be at the track soon, and we'll see how long this stock clutch lasts, lol. thanks again

It's a medium Cam.Bigger than yours but nowhere as big as other shops are ussing I'm holding specs now

Glad your happy Griff.Cars pretty much perfect,we just need a few more mods on the intake track and some better air. Should run good at the track

Congratulations Chris... I know you have been waiting a while to get all the parts and whatnot. Must feel great to have it all back together and mean as hell. Maybe you and I can schedule a track outing and see who fries their stock clutch first!

thanks everyone. and yup, this is the stock shortblock, i sold the 383 to badpewter, as he said. i guess its about time i do something about the name.

steph, ill be there that saturday, dont think im gonna be able to make it friday. ill give you a call during the week.

dan, don did the porting on the FAST intake, and the LS2 TB.

and i agree, the car definitly feels capable of getting me booted, if the clutch and IRS stays together, lol. and if not, then stage 2 starts early
