Warren, it is hard to say because I bought these from chief two summers ago, who bought them from someone in Texas. Chief did not use them at all, and I am not sure how much the old owner drove them. They were in great shape when I bought them. I put approximately 25 track passes on them. A good half of those were without a burnout (these tires hook really hard on a warm day by themselves). I will some good pics tonight so you can see. I am not sure whath mfg date is, is there a way to tell on the tire? They have to be at least 3 years old (depending on how long the guy in Texas had them).

Check the serial #'s on the sidewall of each tire, Steph. Tire birthdate will have mo./yr. near end of serial #. You'd be surprised at how many prs. of slicks have way different birthdates---even over a year's difference. Race tires shouldn't show any sidewall cracks---meaning dried out, or old rubber, or tires that have been stored outside, or in the hot sun. Dead rubber on race tires means a poor hook, or worse, a blowout at high speed/going thru traps. M/T tires last quite a long time if stored in a cool, dry place. Hope this helps you used-race-tire-lookers out.
