Default Help me find an LS1(Pics Posted)******

Ok I'm in Eastern PA, and I'm finding it hard as hell to find an LS1 bird. My price range in up to 11k, and I'll take any color that isn't white. Has to be a 6spd. Has to be a bird/TA/Hawk. Any help would be appreciated. I am looking at a 99 Hawk with 100k on it for 10.5, but I would really like to have some comparisons, and there seems to be nothing in the area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

-Gary

Those are a little more than you mentioned you wanted to spend, maybe you could talk them down a $1000 or something.. Nice cars though..

ty, I had seen those two, but I was looking for a little lower in price... I am however noticing that the Pontiacs are a little pricier than the Chevys. I am dead set on a Pontiac, and I was looking for either a 50-60k mile firebird in the 10-11k range, or higher mileage (preferrably under 100k) in the <10k range. I appreciate the help, I am waiting for this guy with the Hawk to get his title(it was in his company's name) and in the mean time I would like to find a car to bargain him down a little on price. A car would have to be a good deal for me to give up the Firehawk looks too... I really do appreciate the quick responses though, I've looked on autotrader, e-bay, autoextra, and cars.com any other suggestions.

P.S. That first one you showed me would be awesome, but I already talked with him, and he's pretty firm on price. He's only about 20 miles away from me.

My zip - 18062

Thanks again,
Gary

I know someone selling a red 2000 TA 6 speed. It has thirty something thousand miles on it. I don't know a whole lot about it. The car is in Qakertown PA. The owners name is John and is phone number is 267 716 6483. I think he wants $10k for it. Like I said, I don't know much about the car. Call the guy.

It's an 8, but it's auto. Quakertown is even closer to me, I'll give him a call, thanx. Know of any others?

I saw one at a used car dealer in Nazareth Pa a little while back. I hardly ever go up there any more so I don't know if it is still there or not. I know nothing of the car other then it is a red trans am. It looked pretty nice when I drove past.

Thanks for all of the help, I did call the guy in Quakertown, sounds like a nice car, but he wants 13k, and I can't blame him. I got the guy with the Firehawk to lock in a price of 10.5k, so I'm gonna go with that car. I just can't give up the chance to own a Firehawk.

Thanks again for the help,
Gary

lol I don't own it yet, but the guy said I could come take pics tonight, so that's when you'll see em. Probably the cleanest 100k mile car you'll ever see... might be the highest mileage LS1 firehawk too... I kinda feel lucky to have a driver firehawk. I'm planning on doing some SCCA events. Anyone have an idea how well the Firehawk will compete in the Street Modified E Class? Anyone in the Allentown PA area that races?

Thanks, Gary.

Aparantly not the highest mileage Firehawk...

Makes me feel good about my price, but I'm sure it won't sell for that.

If someone buys that car for that price they must be an idiot!

Has the normal crack in the interior door panel on the pass side... other than that I only see a pencil tip sized ding on the driver's quarter above the fender well.

What do ya think?
