Default insurance guestion

i was in a accident a couple of months ago, i spun out and hit a telephone pole . well recently i got a letter from verizon stating that they were going to bill me for the repair of the pole . my question is has anyone ever hit a pole and had to pay for it? will my insurance company pay for it? i had and still have full coverage at the time. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Steve

If you have full coverage they should cover it. I hit a flashing light pole once, blew it right across the street. I just had to pay my deductible and of course 6 years of surcharges...

If you have full coverage your insurance should pay for it.

my ex's brother was in law school and was interning at an electric company. he said whatever you do don't ever hit a pole, as it's insanely expensive to fix. hopefully your insurance will cover it though.

Since your already tagged with a AFA, At Fault Accident, try to put the claim in, its will be considered on going, same situation, so even if its considered "closed" companies cannot "Double Dip". You have PD (Physical Damage), thats your protection from people suing you for damaging their property, automobiles or otherwise.

Hope it helps.
