Favorite Gas Station
Favorite Gas Station I don't really have one gas station brand that I only go to, but I do have those I avoid... My favorite one to get gas at is a Sunoco. Anyone else have preferences?
Amoco (now BP Amoco) Ultimate 93 octane has always been among my favorites but I use Sunoco Ultra 93 now as well.
I also is Mobil (now Luk Oil around here) depending on who's cheaper and where I am.

See, you would think that in a populated area, gas station(s) can drop prices about 10-15 cents/gallon and still see huge profits because they will get 10x more business because people choose to pay for cheaper gas even if they have to drive a little farther.

I used to use Shell 93, until I noticed in my Predator logs that I was getting a bunch of KR. I switched to Mobil 93 and all is good.
A few weeks ago I also found a Mobil station in Middlebury that has CAM2 100 octane unleaded (made by Sunoco)... so I mix some of that in with the Mobil 93...
The Mobil 93 is $3.49 and the CAM2 is $7.69...

Gas is pretty much the same, companies add their own formula to them, I'd more worried about the owner of the station, like if they sell alot of 93 octane, where others dont etc etc.

Anything but Citgo, I had some bad problems there, few years back when I had a stock Honda civic 91 base model. I filled it up with some 87, now the owners book said the car runs fine on 84. I don't even know where to get that stuff but this stuff was knocking and ran like junk.
How you can pass off gas thats less then 84... bothers me. I won't go back there ever. Heard a few horror stories like that. Thank goodness I was knocking a 120 buck motor and not the ls1

i go to Seven 11 buy my work, i think that is the only gas my car has gotten sence ive had it, 93 . and im really sick of searching around for cheaper gas, ill waste more gas looking for it cheaper.
I usually use shell or sunoco if I can help it. I've run auto tap a bunch of times and never seen any significant knock retard from running any specific gas. I always run premium in my ls1 cars though.
Always been a fan of Sunoco 93. Typically one station I favor around here, that I will go to even if it's out of my way. If I am in a hurry or don't feel like going "out of my way" I hit up the nearest Mobil station. Those are my main preferences. I run 93 octane in everything including the lawn mower! LoL
