On a more serious note... An occasional run on the highway is one thing. Trolling around message boards looking to actually set up a race from a specified speed is kinda silly. I'd run that kids Saturn in my bolt on C5, but it would be from a dig and I would require some compensation.

JP did take care of me. We hung out for a week while I watched him port my current set of heads. The car puts down a nice torque curve and runs pretty strong for only having a tr224 cam. JP gets a
from me.

after mike00SS telling me theres anther thread, on break i had to come by this narrow minded forum and see it for myself. thanks to some of the guys who realize that im here to just find a friendly race with a exhaust and lidded car. yet i got guys that run 10's talking **** cool =/....i got all these **** talkers but there only been 1 guy whos actually responded back to my PM's. huggerSS, and yea man im hoping to meet up with u and do some fun pulls. i really think ull be surprised, and realize that infact i might not have been the " trolling bullshitter " . Anyways RT 37 should be pretty packed tonight with alot of pretty sick cars. So if anyone is interested in meeting up, ill be glad to meet up within a reasonable range. So to all u 10 second and 9 second cars, please keep your negative comments to yourself. im only 20 years old, i don't have the finances to fund a 10 second car right now.
You missed the whole point. The fact is your looking for a race that you might have a chance to win to prove how fast your car is. WHO CARES! A fast car is a fast car even if you lose a race. Race a 10 second car and if you hold your own, which it sounds like you will, big props to you. Ever hear the saying that you're not judged on your wins or losses, but rather how you handle losing? Well if you're afraid to lose don't bother racing. What if the outcome isn't what you expected and the guy with exhaust and a lid blows your doors off? Will you come on looking for a race against box stock factory cars with slow drivers?
Run what you brung and enjoy the ride, nobody's looking to take money from you. If I raced you and it was close, I'd give you a big thumbs up and handshake afterwards. I've had my doors blown off by guys making big power, but I still hold my head high and you get respect for that, not how close you can hang with a "only exhaust and lid" ls1.

i never said i was scared to lose lol, when did i ever say that ? and i am that confident that my doors wouldn't get blown off by a lidded, exhausted car. i never meant to come on this site and call out a race, but by reading some other peoples threads about vette vs ion...and mad people saying i don;t know how that can be done, that right there is such a ignorant statement. im still surprised no1 has actually really wanted to do a pull. i think some of u are worried that IF u do lose or don;t destroy me. There gonna be so embarrassed when the video is all over. so again is any1 out there and down for a pull ?

Fact is, the newest f-body is at least 5 years old. Not too many left out there, much less on this site lid and catback only.
