I just read about 60-70 posts into that thread and laughed my *** off. The kid wants to specify exactly how fast of a car he will race. He asks for bolt on cars, but only those that run high 12s. If you run a high 11 he doesn't want to race you, even though you may be only a bolt on car. Screw it, ask to race a car, and run what you brung. If you lose to a faster car, there's no shame in that. I bet it's a fun car, but don't pick a fight, then get pissy cause a big guy steps up and you were really only interested in fighting the small guy in the corner.
With that said, ummm, I want to race a viper with my Saab, but he can only run a mid to high 13 and only use even number gears, and then I can post the video on the internet showing how quick my car really is.

If someone said race my busa for 300 i'd laugh and run for the hills. If he said want to see how many buses i'll put on you? I'd be thrilled and find out.
I mean I understand he was looking for something in his leauge, that's understandable. But he kept going on and on, like he just was looking for one he *might* be able to beat so he could tack it on to his kill list.
Racing brings out the best and worst in people lol.
In this forum your going to find the fastest LS1,LS2,LSX, and LS3 cars in the world. The info in this forum is one of the best mods my car ever had. When my car was full weight with just stock tune headers, gears and slicks it ran a 12.2 @ 109 at island dragway. A trip to atco and it would have ran a 12.0-11.9 and if I pulled som weight it would be in the 11's all day. It doesn't take a lot for our cars to be quick. You would be better off finding your race on the street because everyone on this site will have a unfare advantage on you just from the info and results that can be found on this site from all the tested and proven combo's to step by step how to write up's.
