Yes 3.91 gears, Trap rpm I am not 100% but I think around 5000rpm maybe less, maybe a few more (I have a habit of looking up to try and see my time before the booth LoL) and 26 tall tire that is supposed to measure 26.5 on the car! 26x11.5x17" ET Street

Don- I did check the AFR throughout the runs. It's like 11.5-11.8ish each time at WOT... seems fine to me! Race gas has never been mentioned to me, I figured it was a pump gas car and didn't need the C-16 or similar, I'll keep it in mind next time though for another new PB. I was going to call you for June 30th to see if I should run Cam2 in it but decided not to. It could be the driver but with that I only have 25 races in this car period and only 10 with the Procharger.

Vinny that would be great to have others up there that I know! Each time it seems like everyone it busy!

Tony- thanks, but I will be the driver. It does'nt really matter if the car can go faster with someone else, it matters if I am driving it there!
Pics uploading.. will post later!

Squishy suspension from being strapped down on a barge from Austrailia kills the shocks and struts..... just ask my how I know! Thank goodness for drag bags keeping the rear stiffer!!
Chances of hearing my car over most others at the track will be really slim even if I go with Magnaflow, whereas it's already louder than Magnaflow systems! I'm leaving the cats too because I cannot stand a shitty sounding raspy exhaust tone! I had enough of that when I ran no cats on the TA for like a month!!

I'm just being hard on them Warren, remember a few years ago when we all just practised driving on stockish cars? High hp needs good driving to make it work.(expecially m-6 cars ,A4's you just hold on and work the 60')

Speedy, the 12.0 run is lazy. The 1-2 shift looks like it hit neutral by the way the nose just rode the ground. That was probly 2/10ths -3or4 mph right there. It sounds harsh but it's the truth. To run fast the runs have to be perfect.

My Vette would run 11.4 at 122mph with lazy shifts then 10.7 at 130mph hammering it with WOT shifts.

Right on Don... I don't mind the constructive criticizism at all, it'll only help me! I don't think it's all that bad considering I don't have much seat time with the set up and everytime I go something has been changed! 25 passes in the car since I bought it and 10 of those now with then S/C, so every time at the line is a new experience! Like I posted my times for June 30th... Seat time, Seat time, Seat time!! Don't forget now... I'm also pushing 2 tons of weight!!

He's right the 1/8 shifting is a little lazy. Just that alone and you'll be well into the 11's. The best thing you can do now is maybe just log some runs, then you can see exactly what you and the car is doing.

i had the same issue when i first started Todd thats how i know shift speed makes a huge difference. you can see the shifts were getting better on the faster runs. if you want your best run you have to drive the car like it owes ya money
im still working on getting my shifting perfect myself

Next time you run, check your rpm's going thru the traps....closer you can be to the max of your power band...higher your mph will be. W/car that heavy, 4.10's could make quite a little difference. BTW, what are those rear wheels you are running? 10 spokes painted blk?? I'd like to see a lightweight set of 15" drag wheels on that car w/15" ET streets that have some sidewall. Best wishes. WJ

It's all good guys... Like I have probably said three times already, I have 25 passes in the car total, 4 with the S/C and stock clutch and now 6 more with a different clutch and new shifter! I had maybe 30 passes in the Trans Am, so call me a beginner!

I'll get there and have improved a shitload already in just those 10 passes from my first season's pass being 13.09 @109 with a 2.19 short time to my new PB of 12.09 @ 114 with the 1.64! I do drive it like it owes me money.... after all I did get that sweet 60' on the so called weak IRS! LoL

They are stock GTO wheels with some black paint on them, wrapped in 26x11.5x17 ET Streets. I will be getting 15x8 Prostars when the money is available for them. I have to get a cat-back on the car first though!

3.91's are the shortest they make for the GTO's, unless a 9in conversion is done! I was told that I would have trouble with the 3.91 and FI as it is but that's not the case at all...

Here's my dyno chart...

Does that mean I should be shifting at peak torque, so like 5700ish?? If that's the case I was shifting on the down curve!

Yeah that's what I was doing! So I am on track there then give or take a few rpm since I don't have a shift light yet! I was looking at them last night too. Little Raptor LED shift light maybe!!

Just got back from the weigh station. 3980lbs with just over a 1/2 tank of gas (I raced with 1/4 tank and less until lunch break, so minus me the car itself with whatevers in it 3765lbs!

So next time Don... a few gallons of C-16 when I get there, just for safety or the power aspect? I can always get something less potent at Columbus oil in Swansea.. like 108 or 112 instead of the 117... You tell me, you're the mad scientist! I figured the 93 and Methanol was enough?

start praticing the full throttle shifts that would be the biggest help thats what ive been doing since my last trip to the track but the nittos dont seem to like it to much

this will also create less boost drop on your shifts and keep the power up for you

Not really a fan of powershifts, I'd rather get the speed shifts down first! So in the end if I "need" to powershift I'll be able to do it quickly!
