FS Built 4l60e $900 OBO Selling my built 4l60e out of a 2002 Trans Am the tranny had or has some of the best parts you can buy for a 4l60e at the time I bought them. The tranny cost about 2400 to build and the rebuild kit alone was around 650. The tranny shifts fine on the street nice shifts every gear. The trans was babied on the street about 4k miles it was built in oct 05 and it has about 25 some motor some nitrous I did have 1 problem however at the track where I upped the shot to 175 and it wouldnt complete the 2-3 shift it would hit the rev limiter until I let off not sure if that was a tuning issue or mechanical the 3-4 clutch set could have some wear but it shifted fine on a smaller shot and it shifts fine on motor and it shifts great part throttle. I have also heard it may need bigger feed holes in the seperator plate but this tranny does shift fine just for some reason would hit the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift on a 175 shot. This trans is a great deal for someone who wants a reliable trans even if the 3-4 clutch was alittle worn which I dont think it is it would still be cheaper to replace the clutches then spending 2400 on a newly built trans. I want 900OBO for the trans im going to do local pickup only for now I will maybe drive alittle bit to meet you if needed it works great besides the 2-3 shift issue on nitrous. I will also sell the vacuum modulator for another $50 which is still brand new in box If your interested I will send you a complete list of what was in the rebuild kit just not trying to make the post to long I can also get pictures if needed. Iam selling because I plan on making big power and want to go with a 4l80e.
