no ****, and I like the larger beads definite penetration no need to think about that cracking. Where are you getting the pipes from you bending them your self, it's not taking long, looking good

I bought a base c5 10 point kit from Wolfe. Does it fit? Well nope not supose to. I cut up that kit and rebend what I could. Then I bought 100' of material from a local supplyer of 4340 military spec chromoly. I am using 1 5/8" ,1 1/2", 1 3/8" ,1" and 3/4" tubing. I have a 7inch radius pump bender works ok but if I am going to do it again going need the Bend Pak that Matt just ordered. I to am a fan of the larger welds. The small ones dont look like they have enought material. I will keep the extra 2-3lbs of filler rod in my car for piece of mind. I am almost done don't realy look like the photos that are up currently anymore. Alot more pipe is in the car. The NHRA inspector will be here today in the afternoon to inspect the cars chassie for a 25.5 spec I hope it passes.

I'm a fan of the large weld when I'm doing pipe. To me it looks a lot cleaner than tossing a couple stringers around it. Granted I'm welding up 6", they look good to me. And since the cage passed it looked good for NHRA too!
